Five Childhood Beliefs that now make me giggle

- That the Buffalo Bills were from Buffalo, Wyoming, a small town next to my hometown with about 3,000 people in it.

- That all sand was white (I had spent summers in Pensacola, FL) and the only reason California sand was dark was because of pollution.

- That pre-mortal (a Mormon-coined phrase that relates to doctrine – basically saying that peoples’ souls were in heaven before they came to earth) was the same thing as primordial. I wasn’t sure if we were all tadpoles in heaven or if heaven was in the ocean.

- That Haley’s Comet had something to do with the Challenger explosion. Yes, I know they didn’t happen the same year, but it seemed like it afterwards

- That Ronald Reagan was in movies because he was the President of the United States. Who wouldn’t want W to be the star of their movie, right?
